HOW TO REMOVE A CCJ FROM YOUR CREDIT FILE:
A) By submitting a setaside application to the county court. The court can list it for the hearing if it is not through a draft consent order.
b) If you will pay it wihin 30 days.
c) After six years it will be removed from your credit file.
If you have satisfied your debt then it will only show as settled on your credit file, therefore to get it permanently removed you need to submit a formal application to the County Court from whihc the CCJ is made against you.
